Antigone

Antigone is a tragic Greek play by Sophocles that explores themes of loyalty, justice, and civil disobedience as Antigone defies King Creon’s orders to bury her brother according to divine law, risking her life for family and moral duty.

The Tournament Of Plays is a competition between 4 One Act shows directed by students over the course of 2 nights.

About S.E.T

South Eugene Theater (Thespian Troupe 750) is a student led program that strives to produce quality productions, welcome thespians from all walks of life, and give artists a platform to express themselves both onstage and off. We produce 6 shows a year, 3 of which are directed by seniors at South, with the other half directed by our Drama Teacher. Every year we have the privilege of participating in Oregon Thespian Regionals and State, and have even previously competed on a National level. We’re incredibly proud of the dedication and effort of our young thespians, some of which have received awards due to their excellence and commitment to their craft.
